LARDIN Takes GBV and Femicide Awareness to the Community.
At LARDIN, we believe meaningful change does not begin only in boardrooms, conferences, or formal meetings. It begins within our communities through conversations, awareness, and action.
Recently, LARDIN Program Director, Charlotte Nguh, took the initiative to engage a small group of women in her neighbourhood in an awareness and sensitization discussion on gender-based violence (GBV), femicide, and homicide prevention.
The grassroots engagement created a safe space for conversation and reflection, encouraging participants to better understand the warning signs of violence, speak up when they see or experience abuse, support one another, and contribute to building safer communities.
