REPORT FOR DIALOGUE ON WORLD YOUTH SKILLS DAY AT LARDIN’s OFFICE
SPACE BAMUNGO SOYA, NEW TOWN LIMBE ON THE 16TH OF JULY, 2024.
THEME: “YOUYH SKILLS FOR PEACE AND DEVELOPMENT”

The Legacy Action and Royal Development Initiatives ( LARDIN) to empower young women,
girls and families by equipping them with the knowledge on acquisitions and monetization of skills
to tackle poverty and hunger, to further this mission, the organization ty hosted a dialogue on the
topic “Youth skills development for a peaceful and sustainable world” on Tuesday the 16th
July, 2024 at the conference hall of LARDIN’s Office , Bamungo Soya, New Town Limbe.
OBJECTIVES:
The main objectives as follows;
➢ Education and Training: The importance of equipping youth with relevant skills and
knowledge through education and training initiatives to promote peace and sustainability.
➢ Leadership and Empowerment: Empowering young people to take on leadership roles in their
communities and organizations to drive positive change and contribute to a peaceful world.
➢ Conflict Resolution Skills: Teaching youth conflict resolution skills, empathy, and effective
communication techniques to help them address conflicts peacefully and build harmonious
relationships.
➢ Sustainable Development Practices: Encouraging youth to adopt sustainable development
practices, such as environmental conservation, social responsibility, and ethical business
practices for a more sustainable future.
